Though he lost in the opening round of the doubles match against the top seed, lightning does not strike twice for him as he climbed his way thru and managed to win the top seed in singles, 2MD no 1 seed ong jun xiang, 15-10. When interviewed, Jun xiang said:"the floor was too slippery" But is this a valid reason for him? For many, this will prove a great joy to savour as tong tsz hin finally won a guy who has not lost to anybody in 2MD for more than a year. His last loss was never recorded and this will be the first time Tsz Hin has won after losing about 2-3 times. Though personal matters still swirls and circulates around him, it is clearly seen that he cannot keep his emotions in check, venting against Jun Xiang smashes and relentless diving just to save every shuttlecock he can. Jun Xiang could not have been in good form and is apparantly said to be trying out a new style, which might have explained for his 6 net faults. Both of them insist they will still be good friends and classmates even after that resounding victory.
